Junior year is a critical stage in the college application process. Students are focused on building their transcripts, participating in their school and local community, and balancing expectations and pressure to get into college. We tackle the application in small bites over time.
Seniors are encouraged to take more responsibility for their work while their application mentor takes a hands-off approach. The focus of this stretch is finalizing the college list and completing all associated applications on time. Students gather their teacher recommendations and transcripts while managing college portals.
Starting college is an adventure—exciting, transformative, and sometimes overwhelming. Solo Expedition is designed to equip students with the skills and confidence to navigate this transition successfully. Our college planning program offers a structured yet flexible curriculum covering the essentials of college life, from academic expectations to social life, financial literacy, self-care, and independent living.
We’ll bill the hours used off the client’s retainer each month. The pay structure varies depending on the mentor and tasks. We send monthly retainer and invoice updates, so you’re always aware of the balance.
