Getting prepped for Summer Camps?!
The time to think about 2017 summer camp programs is here and for some schools, the time to register is now!
Get an overview of Denver’s Local Private School Camps here. We have complied a list of programs that will keep your kids stimulated and occupied.
Regardless of whether your child is enrolled, many private schools in the area have excellent camps open to non-students; offering academic, theatre, arts, and sports programs. Also, most of these camps run on a weekly basis, which can be a huge advantage when scheduling around family trips.
It is important to note that registration for most of these camps opens the end of January and early February. Many programs tend to fill up quickly, so now is a good time to take a look at what options are out there. Some camp registration and information is not yet posted, check back here for updated camp information or contact admissions with up-to-date information.
Providing programs to students and non-students, Colorado Academy draws youth from as far as Castle Rock, Evergreen and Parker. Kids are given the opportunity to ‘mix and match’ from a variety of academic and athletic activities to create a camp that is just right for them. Some activities include: stained glass, Star Wars coding, archery, tennis, photography, baseball, computers, swim lessons, day camp overnight, art, theater, music, circus, lacrosse, rock climbing and more! Campers have access to the beautiful grounds and facilities; make use of the tennis courts, a baseball diamond, dozens of classrooms, two full-size gymnasiums, five playing fields, a theater, a dining hall, four computer labs, spacious studio arts workrooms, a photography studio, and a facility for vocal and instrumental music. Registration opens January 30th.
